I know a lot of folks talked about how over-hyped Hurricane Irene was (in New York) or how the media played it up. I don’t want to get into that.
But watching this video of the majority of Irene’s lifespan, I sort of can see why it scared people, and why folks were being genuine in there reporting of it. That thing was HUGE. It takes up the entire East Coast of the US. I don’t care what category it was when, or when it became a tropical storm. That was one immense storm.
